What a Season its been
The 2026 CHCJRA regular season has officially come to a close, and what an incredible season it has been!
On behalf of the Crooked Horn Canadian Junior Rodeo Association, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this season such a success.
To our contestants, thank you for your hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication every weekend. You are the reason we do this, and watching each of you grow throughout the season has been truly rewarding.
To the parents, families, coaches, and supporters, thank you for the countless hours spent traveling, preparing, cheering from the stands, and supporting these young athletes. Your commitment makes all of this possible.
To our amazing volunteers, judges, timers, arena crew, announcers, secretaries, and everyone working behind the scenes, thank you for the countless hours you dedicated to making every rodeo run smoothly. Your time and effort never go unnoticed.
To our sponsors and community partners, thank you for believing in our association and investing in the future of youth rodeo. Your generosity allows us to continue providing opportunities for young cowboys and cowgirls to compete, learn, and grow.
Finally, thank you to everyone who attended our rodeos, purchased raffle tickets, volunteered, donated, or found other ways to give back to CHCJRA throughout the season. Every contribution, big or small, helped make this our biggest and most successful season yet.
While the regular season may be over, there is still one exciting event left. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for the 2026 CHCJRA Finals, where our season champions will be crowned.

Our Mission
At the Crooked Horn Canadian Junior Rodeo Association, we develop the next generation of rodeo athletes by creating real opportunities to compete, improve, and succeed.
As a non-profit supporting youth ages 5 to 18, we provide a fair, competitive, family-first environment where confidence, character, and sportsmanship are built in and out of the arena. With one of the highest volumes of events in the country, our athletes get more chances to run, sharpen their skills, and push their limits
We’re not just building competitors we’re building resilience, respect, leadership, and lifelong connections. Crooked Horn consistently produces top-level talent, with athletes advancing to major stages across North America. As the only association in Canada that qualifies competitors for the Junior NFR, we offer a pathway that’s uniquely ours.
We’re not just hosting rodeos—we’re preparing our athletes for what comes next.

At Capacity
Due to the overwhelming support and incredible response we have received for CHCJRA, memberships filled much faster than anticipated. To ensure we continue to provide the best possible experience for all members, we have now reached membership capacity and are no longer accepting additional memberships at this time.

Official Merchandise
We’re proud to officially launch the Crooked Horn merchandise store. Hoodies, tees, hats, mugs—gear you can wear at the arena, on the road, or anywhere you want to represent.
We’ve partnered with West Country Designs to make it happen, bringing quality products and a clean look that fits who we are as an association.
2026 Finals - Olds Alberta
We’re heading back to Olds for another great Finals weekend, November 6–8 at the Brawn Family Arena. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the season, bringing together competitors, families, and fans for a full weekend of rodeo action.
We kick things off Friday night with the Back Number Ceremony at the Pomeroy Hotel, then it’s all business in the arena Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night, we come together for the Awards Banquet It’s shaping up to be a strong weekend—we’ll see you in Olds.
New 2026 Enterence Fees
We’re excited to share some great news with our Crooked Horn Canadian Junior Rodeo Association community, we’ve officially lowered our event fees for the upcoming season. This is a big step forward for all of our athletes and families, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors. Their commitment to our association continues to create real opportunities for young rodeo athletes to compete, grow, and be part of something special.

At the Crooked Horn Canadian Junior Rodeo Association, we believe fair competition should be available to everyone and we back that up every time the gate opens. With up to 39 events running each day, we create real opportunities for every athlete to compete, improve, and stay sharp. More chances. More runs. More growth. It’s one of the things that truly sets us apart — we’re not just hosting rodeos, we’re building competitors.
